Mullein Leaf Extract and BreathiZen®
Mullein leaf is the lead plant in BreathiZen, a tall herb with woolly, soft-gray leaves.*
Meet Mullein Leaf Extract
Mullein grows tall on sunny hillsides and by the road. Its big leaves are covered in fine hairs that feel like flannel. In the second year the plant sends up a long yellow-flowered spike. Herbal traditions in Europe and North America have used the leaves for a very long time.
Where it comes from
The leaves are picked, dried and concentrated. The 10:1 on the label means the extract was made from roughly ten parts of dried leaf for every one part of finished extract. In BreathiZen the extract is blended into a spray, so there is no tea to steep.
Why it is in the blend
Mullein leaf is first in the blend because BreathiZen is made to support clear airways and lung health.* It is named first on the Supplement Facts panel.

The plant has both. BreathiZen uses an extract made from the leaf.
What does 10:1 mean?
It describes a concentrated extract made from a much larger amount of dried leaf.
Is there anything to prepare?
No. The extract is already in the spray, so shake and press four pumps.
